As predicted, there has been a lot of whispering about Apple's upcoming iPhone 8. Set to be announced in September 2017, this new model is still shrouded in mystery. However, we've some guesses on what to expect from the iPhone 8; rumors on the street say that the iPhone 8 will charge wirelessly and be mostly glass-made, although a limited-edition ceramic version may also be available. There's also the potential for a curved OLED display, plus an additional fingerprint reader on its back.
Samsung Galaxy Note 8
Forthcoming in late August, Samsung's Galaxy Note 8 is a heartbeat away from being launched. So far, we've heard that the Note 8 is meant to improve tremendously upon the Note 7, which was released to mixed reviews. Look out for an 18.5:9 aspect display, a dual camera on its back, and a speedy Snapdragon 835 processor with 6GB of RAM.
Sony Xperia XZ2
Until now, Sony's line of Xperia model hasn't changed much in their design. But apparently, they're ready to shake things up with the Xperia XZ2. Reports have said that Sony is planning to keep the Xperia's dynamic features, like its top-rated camera, but fit everything into a smaller package. Perhaps with a 18:9 display? We'll know more in late August.
Google Pixel 2
While a 2.0 version of Google's Pixel has been confirmed for late 2017, details about this new model are still sparse. Allegedly, the Pixel 2 will be fully waterproof, have a curved screen, and offer an even better camera with low-light capabilities. Its processor will also be improved to a Snapdragon 835. With this new model, you can still expect the same flamboyant color options!
Xiaomi Mi Note 3
Known as being the top name in Chinese smartphones, Xiaomi is likely launching its Mi Note 3 model in October 2017. As a follow-up to Xiaomi's Note 2, this new version may offer similar features to the Galaxy Note 7, such as curved sides and a jumbo-sized screen. Overall, Xiaomi consistently provides excellent value for reasonable prices, so keep your eyes open for this upgrade.
